VolBuild LLC is now a licensed Alabama builder (Alabama Home Builders Licensure Board License #41488), in addition to our long-standing Tennessee General Contractor License (TN GC #72915). This is the milestone that lets us officially expand our roofing, custom home building, concrete, deck, and gutter work into North Alabama under proper state licensure – the way it should be done.

Why Hiring a Licensed Alabama Builder Matters
Alabama is one of the stricter states for residential construction licensure. Under Alabama Code Title 34, Chapter 14A, any builder performing residential construction work valued over $10,000 must hold an active Alabama Home Builders License. This isn’t a permit. It isn’t a registration. It’s a state-issued license that requires:
- Proof of experience – demonstrated history of completed construction work
- Financial responsibility – bonded and insured to industry standards
- Examination – passing the Alabama Home Builders Licensure Board exam
